Why Macaw?
Honestly, it’s pretty straightforward. Our transfers are made to easily last 50+ washes. The colors stay bright, the designs flex without cracking, and they go on just about anything. Cotton, blends, nylon, and even wood.
We use OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT-Certified inks, which have been tested and proven safe for both human use and the environment. So whether you’re printing for customers, friends, or your own brand, you can feel confident in what you’re pressing.
We don’t have minimums. You can order exactly what you need. Want just one? Cool. Need 50 by next week? Also doable.

What are DTF Transfers?
DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are high-quality, heat-applied prints that can be pressed onto a wide variety of fabrics, including:
- Cotton
- Polyester
- Blends
- Hoodies, shirts, tote bags, hats, etc.
Just press it with a heat press — no weeding, no vinyl, no mess.
How long does production take?
Our typical production times are:
- DTF Transfers: 1–2 business days
- Custom-made merchandise: 2–4 business days
Production times may vary during peak periods or high order volume.
What file types do you accept?
We recommend:
- PNG (Transparent Background)
- PDF (High resolution)
- SVG (Vector)
- AI / EPS
Minimum recommended resolution: 300 DPI
For best results, please upload artwork that is ready to print.
What happens if my artwork is low quality?
We print exactly what you upload.
Macaw Transfers LLC is not responsible for:
- Blurry images
- Pixelated designs
- Low-resolution artwork
- Missing backgrounds or wrong cut lines
Please check your files carefully before uploading.
How do I apply a DTF transfer?
Heat press instructions:
- Set heat press to 300–315°F
- Pre-press garment for 5 seconds
- Press transfer for 13 seconds (medium pressure)
- Allow to cool ( If COLD peel)
- Peel film carefully
- Final press for 5 seconds (optional for durability)
How durable are the transfers?
DTF transfers are extremely durable and offer:
- High stretch
- Vibrant colors
- Long-lasting prints (40–60 washes with proper care)
For best durability:
- Wash inside out
- Cold water
- Low heat dry (or hang dry)
